Basement Finishing
If you're
thinking of turning your basement into finished living
space, give us an opportunity to work with you. Whether
you're looking for very basic finishing; walls, lighting
and carpet or custom finishing with built - ins, entertainment
centers, home theatre systems, wet bars, custom cabinetry,
etc., we can and have done it. All of our employees and
contractors are long time friends or associates. We know
them well, we trust them and they know what we expect
of them. Nobody is sent into your home that we wouldn't
feel comfortable with in our own.

Most homeowners think that finishing off a basement is
a losing venture financially as far as resale. Even though
it is acknowledged that a finished basement will improve
appeal to buyers substantially, it does not improve appraised
value comparative to cost of finishing. However, if you
install an egress window (emergency escape and rescue
access), the finished area is now included in the overall
square footage of your home, and in many cases, this will
increase the value of your home by more than the cost
of the project.
Another thing to consider is adding a bathroom. You can
simply add a ½ bath or put in a full bath offering an
additional shower for guests or maybe older children.
